Core becomes Huddersfield Town’s official Sleeve and Facilities Partner
Huddersfield Town’s longstanding partnership with well-known local business Core Facility Services has been further strengthened with the announcement that Core have become our Official Sleeve and Facilities Partner for the next three seasons!
Core’s distinctive logo has become a recognisable one to Town supporters thanks to their many years of support of the Terriers, most recently through their sponsorship of the Riverside Stand at the John Smith’s Stadium. Now, for 2024/25 through to the 2026/27 season, Core will continue to be synonymous with the Club by showcasing their logo on the sleeve of our First Team’s home, away, and third shirts.
Core Facility Services have been helping businesses and charities in Kirklees and Calderdale to manage costs, minimise overheads, and improve sustainability for almost 20 years. They specialise in business energy, waste, and IT – and are a longstanding Club partner and supplier to the John Smith’s Stadium.
Core has established enduring connections with charitable organisations including Overgate Hospice, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, and Happy Days. This support helps these charities spend as little as possible on running costs so that more resources can be used in frontline services.
Paul Reeves, Chief Revenue Officer for Huddersfield Town Association Football Club commented: “CORE has always been a huge supporter of the football club and has worked with the stadium as its facilities management supplier since 2019, so to continue this momentum with this new 3-year agreement is testament to how all parties are committed to working with each other to benefit the long-term facilities strategy of the business. This new partnership will give CORE a prominent media profile, which we are confident will help them to firmly cement their reputation as a leading national facilities service provider.”
Gareth Henderson, Director of Core Facility Services, said: “It’s a huge privilege to be the official facilities partner for HTAFC and to have the Core name on every shirt as we head into an exciting new season. We are incredibly proud to be supporting the stadium’s long-term sustainability planning by continuing to manage their waste and recycling, minimising their energy costs through proactive purchasing and developing wider and stronger facility services across the entire Huddersfield Town estate, including IT services, going forward. All of us here at Core are looking forward to following the team’s progress and cheering them on.”
