Packing Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child
Here at Core we have been busy packing shoeboxes for a fantastic charity that distributes them to children in more than 100 countries worldwide at Christmas.
Operation Christmas Child is an initiative by international relief and development organisation Samaritan’s Purse.
The staff at Core have been filling their shoeboxes with toys, games and fun stationery, sometimes adding a personal message too.
The boxes are collected by churches, schools and groups between 11th-18th November before thousands of volunteers check and prepare them for international shipping. 
Alongside the shoebox campaign, volunteer National Leadership Teams train church and community leaders and work with ministry partners around the world who hand out shoebox gifts in the local community at festive outreach events.
Everyone here at Core enjoyed putting together their shoeboxes and we hope they will bring joy to boys and girls around the world this Christmas.
