Grass roots community sport is hugely important to Core and we sponsor smaller local teams and the development of children in those sporting communities. One excellent example of this is Ryburn United Football Club.
Core has sponsored girls’ football, from U11 right through to U18 since 2021. The sponsorship provides financial support to help the club invest in its female teams. Core has also sponsored Ryburn United’s over 18 open age teams including the 1st XI Reserves and the U21 and U23 academy teams.
Women’s football is becoming ever more popular at both a local and national level, with interest in our Ryburn girls’ teams at an all time high. Having the support of such a well-known local business will help us build on this success and continue to develop our thriving girls’ squads.
