Energy Support Operations Specialist

Location: Elland

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily operations through data entry, communication, and analysis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational and interpersonal skills within a dynamic environment. A strong phone etiquette and customer service abilities is highly desired. The role involves engaging with customers and suppliers, managing information accurately, and contributing to the operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries regarding energy contracts, billing, and consumption.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or complex account issues.
  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date records and databases.
  • Validate and reconcile customer invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams via phone, email, and other channels, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with upselling products or services during customer interactions to support business growth.
  • Support team members with administrative tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate across departments to facilitate efficient workflow and information exchange.

Customer Services Executive

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Executive to join our growing team!

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued customers—providing top-tier support, resolving issues with efficiency and care, and contributing to an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all day-to-day aspects of customer service, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries via phone and email, liaising with clients and suppliers.
  • Meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for customer care.
  • Set up new client contracts in our internal CRM and coordinate with the supplier chain.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team to support accurate billing and reporting.
  • Provide support to the Sales and Operations teams, including regular updates and status tracking.
  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients, identifying opportunities to upsell additional services.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to delivering great customer outcomes.
