We’re extremely proud to announce that we have renewed our commitment to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice’s Platinum Partners scheme, a group of like-minded businesses who want to make a significant difference in helping the charity in their vital work by pledging their support for a minimum of 12 months.
Core Facility Services was one of the hospice’s earliest corporate partners and our support dates back over more than a decade. We were also a founding member of the Platinum Partners Consortium and are pleased to be continuing our involvement.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice welcomed us to the hospice recently to celebrate our longstanding partnership.
As well as making regular financial donations to the hospice Core Facility Services helps Forget Me Not keep their overheads to a minimum, hugely important at times like this, when the cost of energy in particular is high and unpredictable. Through careful management of the charity’s energy, waste and IT services, Core Facility Services ensures as much money as possible can go directly to front line services.
Ken Davy, President of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice Platinum Partners presented a Platinum Partner plaque to Colette Watts, Managing Director, and Alec Jackson, Core’s Head of IT.
Colette said: “Core has a very special relationship with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, which goes beyond financial donations and fundraising. This is an incredible charity and we have developed a longstanding and productive partnership that has seen us support them in all kinds of practical ways, as well as through corporate sponsorship. We are incredibly proud to be one of the founding members of the Platinum Partners initiative and highly recommend this scheme to other businesses that are looking for a rewarding charitable relationship where they can make a genuine impact.”
Ken Davy, President of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice Platinum Partners said: “The long-standing relationship between Core Facility Services and Forget Me Not has been of immense value to us, supporting us with essential services like IT, energy and waste and making generous donations to the charity. So we’re delighted they have decided to renew their membership of our Platinum Partner consortium – their ongoing support will help us build a sustainable future caring for families facing or living with the loss of their child.”
