Core Sponsors Hope for Justice Extreme Challenge Kilimanjaro

This October Hope for Justice will lead an international team on a climb of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, to raise money to support the charity’s work to rescue victims of modern slavery.

Core Facility Services will be sponsoring this Extreme Challenge, which aims to raise tens of thousands of pounds to tackle human trafficking around the world.

Hope for Justice runs life-changing projects in many countries, including Africa, which protect children from modern slavery. Last year, the charity reached more than 72,000 children and teenagers through its work, which includes outreach work on the streets and education and prevention campaigns.  More than 1,000 children were returned safely home to their parents or to family-based care in this period.

Our relationship with Hope for Justice goes back many years and we are proud to be founder members of Slave-Free Alliance, which is part of Hope for Justice and works to help organisations tackle modern slavery in the supply chain.

Last year our chairman Gareth Henderson joined the Hope for Justice Extreme Challenge Vietnam on a gruelling bike ride across Cambodia and Vietnam, raising £14K.

Extreme Challenge: Kilimanjaro is on the lookout for corporate sponsors to help hit the fundraising target and expand its work into even more towns, cities and countries to help even more victims.
