Core Stands by “Robust” Stadium Partnership
The sponsor of the Core Stand at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium has announced a new deal with Kirklees Stadium Development Limited, which will see the partnership continue beyond its original four-year term.
Core Facility Services, which helps businesses minimise costs and maximise efficiency on energy, waste and IT, will renew its sponsorship at the Riverside Stadium and continue its work to support KSDL’s sustainability strategy.
Core MD Colette Watts said the original sponsorship deal, which launched in 2019, had led to a “robust and mutually beneficial” partnership between the two organisations which both sides were keen to continue.
“We are proud to have supported KSDL with its long-term sustainability planning, which has included managing their green waste services and cardboard recycling to support the stadium’s Reduce, Reuse and Recycle goals.
“Our energy purchasing strategy has also helped them minimise costs during a period of extreme market turbulence.
“KSDL’s positive approach to sustainability makes them a fantastic organisation to work with and we are proud to be continuing our relationship and renewing our sponsorship of the stadium and the prestigious Core Stand.”
Gareth Davies, Managing Director of KSDL, said: “The stadium enjoys a close and productive relationship with Core and we appreciate their insight, clarity and support. We’re delighted that their sponsorship of KSDL and the Core Stand will continue as we head into another exciting season of sport and events.”
