Core strengthens partnership with Christians Against Poverty

Core Facility Services has strengthened its links with Bradford based charity Christians Against Poverty, winning a contract to manage cleaning and maintenance for its two Yorkshire sites.

The charity, which tackles the causes of poverty in the UK and provides advice and support to those in debt, has worked with Core for many years to keep its operational overheads as low as possible to enable as much money as possible to be spent on front line services.

Core has also recently carried out Legionella risk assessment and subsequent follow up remedial work for the organisation.

Simon Clarke of Christians Against Poverty said: “We value the way Core works with our team to find the best solution for us, which isn’t always the most lucrative for them.

“Having successfully reduced our waste and energy costs with Core it made sense to ask them to look after cleaning and maintenance, which is another drain on our finances and time.”

Colette Watts, managing director of Core, said: “We have a strong relationship with CAP that is based on a deep understanding of their priorities, developed over many years.

“We are already generating cost savings since taking over the management of their buildings and we will be relieving them of the time burden involved in the day to day running of cleaning, maintenance and compliance.”
