Core Strikes Deal with Yorkshire’s Most Iconic Building
Leading national facilities services provider Core Facility Services, has announced a new contract with Yorkshire’s most iconic building, The Piece Hall.
The deal will see Core, which is based in nearby Elland, work with The Piece Hall on a sustainable waste management strategy ahead of this year’s summer series of live music events.
The Piece Hall is an 18th century building which recently undertook a multi-million pound renovation, and has swiftly become the star attraction of Halifax town centre. World class stars including Tom Jones, Sting, The Kaiser Chiefs, Paul Weller have graced the stage at The Piece Hall for previous summer series live concerts, entertaining thousands of music fans.
Michael Green, Operations Manager at The Piece Hall, said:
“We are looking forward to working with Core Facility Services for this year’s events, and for our future day-to-day waste management.
“Working with local companies is something that we are passionate about here at The Piece Hall, so we are very happy to bring Core on board, particularly as their expertise will help us maximise efficiency and sustainability.”
Core will work with the venue’s management team to maximise sustainability and ensure reliable, streamlined waste services, particularly at peak times.
